The Grit Ninja has packed up their equipment and is ready to turn Memorial Park into a unique ninja warrior obstacle course! During each action-packed class, aspiring ninjas will climb, swing, jump , and run on their ever-changing equipment.
“Dawny Dew” Halasz has designed these classes to introduce your child to ballet, jazz and modern dance with just the right balance of discipline and fun. This class will feature great music with simple choreography, fun games and creative movement while promoting gross motor skill development in a relaxed setting. Child should bring a water bottle to class. This is a Drop-off program.All parents are invited to enjoy their children’s progress at the last class performance.
Does your child like Pop or Hip-Hop music? If so, this class is for them, and features choreographed dances in both genres. This is a high-energy class where dancers develop body coordination, self-expression, and cardiovascular health, while drawing from popular urban culture and music. Each class starts with a warm-up full of free styling to get hearts pounding. This high-powered and fun class encourages students to make every step their own by adding personality to each movement. Our motto is “Just Dance” because no matter what is going on we can still dance. This is a drop off program.
Bizzy Girls-Start Your Own Biz. Calling all young entrepreneurs. Create a business doing what you love! A food business, slime, beauty products, jewelry - it’s up to you. At Bizzy Girls, each student creates their own product, logo and signage. They learn biz skills, marketing, cost/profit, and sales. The program is project based, hands on, creative and fun. Students hold a pop-up store at the end of the session, learning to engage with customers, sell their products, and keep their earnings. Supplies for the products should be under $20. Students come to class the first day with their supplies. We look forward to working with our new entrepreneurs!
Senior Soccer Squirts:• Soccer Senior Squirts classes introduce beginners and those with some experience to the fundamentals of soccer. Our professional soccer coaches will ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment.Each soccer session will focus on developing a particular skill or technique associated with the game of soccer including dribbling, passing, ball control, moves & turns, shielding the ball, positioning, and more. Join Backyard Sports for an age appropriate, pick-up style touch football program with experienced local coaches and PE Teachers. This program will focus on maximum engagement and gameplay with a brief warm-up activity/skills to begin each session. Players will be placed on teams organized by age and ability level for full-field scrimmages each week.
Join Instructor - Mr. Lifrieri (Retired teacher from Mamaroneck School District). Experienced and inexperienced players are welcomed. Learn to play the "Game of Kings and Queens". Win great prizes and trophies!
In our “hands on” class each child will prepare a recipe and take it home with baking instructions for all to enjoy. We will start the season with cheese puffs, Amish sugar cookies and NY style pretzels. As we move into the warmer weather we will make a sunny lemon loaf cake, guacamole happy face dip and chips, friendship bread and a personal pizza.
